Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist (UETA) Contests were held in Surfers Paradise in January 2012 and in Sydney March 2012 and will be held in Melbourne in April 2012.

Up to sixteen of Australia's top Elvis Tribute Artists (ETAs) will compete for the right to represent Australia in Memphis Tennessee, USA in August 2012 in the UETA Contest that will commemorate the 35th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley. The winner in Memphis will receive $US20,000 and a performance contract with Legends in Concert. As well as winning $AUD 3,500 the winner of the Sydney and the Melbourne UETA contest will be offered a performance contract with the ELVIS: His Music, His Treasures tour that will tour around Australia with GENUINE Elvis artefacts from Greg Page's collection of items once owned by Elvis of that have a direct connection to Elvis. The "ELVIS: His Music, His Treasurues" tour is an OFFICIAL sanctioned by Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE), Inc. the world-wide custodians of the brand and legacy of Elvis Presley.

In 2013, five UETA contests will be held in Australia in conjunction with the "ELVIS: His Music, His Treasures" tour.

It will take place at a 1000-seat venue in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, in four separate sessions. Two session will be on Saturday, 28th April commencing at 11am and two sessions will be on Sunday, 29th April commencing at 11am. The weekend will feature some of Australia's top Elvis Tribute Artists (ETAs) who will be competing for a $AUD 3,500 first prize and a spot at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist (UETA) contest in Memphis, Tennessee, USA in August 2012, that will commemorate the 35th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley. The winner of the Memphis UETA contest will receive $US 20,000 and a contract with LEGENDS in Concert.
