Simply look for the logo to enjoy free shipping on selected items throughout the store.

Some items will fit in Air Express satchels, which have a fixed cost to us, no matter where they are being delivered to, but a weight limitation of 5Kg.

Items that are over 5Kg, or are too bulky for an Air Express satchel, but are under 25Kg can be sent at a standard cost to us to most capital cities and rural centres throughout Australia.

The exception to this is the Northern Territory which has a LOT of remote areas and some other remote areas of Australia. We once ended up having to wear the cost TO US of over $200 in delivery charges for a cash register that had a selling price of less than $200 … so, we have to exclude the Northern Territory from the algorithm that calculates the shipping charges for items that otherwise qualify for free shipping … there is no way that our software can make a judgement as to remoteness of a location. We often do not even know until we book the courier.

We always review the actual shipping cost of an item that is destined for the Northern Territory or to some other remote location. Where we can, we refund any “over charge” that may have been calculated for delivery cost by our system. Our problem is that we have no way of knowing until we receive the order here, and look at its actual destination, and the weight and bulkiness of the item, as to what the shipping charge will be that we will incur. Obviously there is no such thing as “FREE shipping” … we have to build in an average shipping cost into the selling price of each item. There is a bit of “what we lose on the swings, we pick up on the roundabouts”, but, to factor in a potentially large actual shipping cost for a bulky or heavy item to the Northern Territory, on all products, would possibly mean an increase in selling prices, across the board, of about 5% … and we are in a very competitive market.

We strive to keep our prices as low as possible for all our customers, and to provide FREE shipping on as many products as we can to as many locations throughout Australia as we can.

Since paper products (such as label rolls and boxes of receipt paper) are very bulky and can be very heavy, it is not possible to calculate an equitable selling price that would include free shipping. If such products are included in an order that contains items that do qualify for free shipping, it is only the non-free-shipping items upon which shipping charges are calculated.
